Children's Mental Health week 2019
It’s been a busy couple of days with the KS2 children of St Wilfrid’s CofE Primary School. We focused on finding art in nature and the beauty of each season. We spoke about how the seasons fade and make way for new beautiful things to come through and how with patience, we know that if we are feeling upset and down, these feelings will pass and make way for happiness. We focussed on how being active outside in nature helps us keep a healthy mind. We created self portraits of us being active in out favourite seasons using paints and plasticine. Year six even worked to an illustrator brief by creating time tiles to help all the other pupils with ideas of to keep active during each season.
It was an absolute pleasure working with such lovely children!
